Carl is a Montana native, born and raised throughout the state before moving to Bozeman in 2007. After attending Montana State University, Carl began as an intern in the summer of 2011 under Jim Searles. Today, he continues his involvement in the Bozeman community through his work as a board member with the Museum of the Rockies and the Jake Jabs College of Business. Carl’s family has deep roots in the state of Montana, from Miles City to the Flathead Valley. He is married to Hilary, who moved to Montana 20 years ago from northern Wisconsin. Carl and Hilary have a 2-yr old daughter, Collins, and are expecting a baby boy at the start of May. 

Danielle is originally from Great Falls and moved to Bozeman in 2015 to attend Montana State University, where she earned dual bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology. Before beginning a career in wealth management, Danielle spent time in the field of neuropsychology, administering psychometric testing for Bozeman Health. After discovering a passion for financial planning, Danielle joined the Nystuen Wealth Management team in January of 2022. Danielle recently graduated from MSU again, this time with a master’s degree in Family Financial Planning. In her spare time, she enjoys working on various crafts and participating in many of Montana's outdoor activities. Danielle and her husband, Trevor, are currently working on a goal to run a 10K in every state in America.
